miim_2012_9September 27-29, 2012 the VI International scientifical-practical conference “Marketing of innovations and innovations in marketing” (MIIM 2012) took place on the basis of the Department of Marketing and MIA of the Sumy State University.

On the 6th conference materials from 185 participants (130 reports) were received. Among them are 39 doctors, 64 PhD, 45 post-graduate students, 6 teachers, 10 assistants, 7 students and 6 enterprise representatives.

The geography of the conference participants: Bulgaria (Bourgas), Belarus (Vitebsk, Grodno), Kazakhstan (Ust-Kamenogorsk), Russia (Moscow, Penza), Ukraine (Sumy, Kyiv , Kharkov, Odessa, Poltava, Lviv, Kremenchug, Donetsk, Rivne, Melitopol, Dnepropetrovsk, Khmelnitsky, Makeevka, Krivoy Rog, Lugansk, Severodonetsk, Zaporozhye, Kirovograd).


Materials of the conference include the developments from 54 universities and scientific organizations, among them 6 are foreign.

Еhe developments of domestic and foreign enterprises’ and organizations’ representatives also are presented in the conference, namely:

  1. Publishing house “Papyrus” ltd., Sumy;
  2. Insurance Company "Globus", Kirovograd;
  3. Bank “Basis”, Kharkov;
  4. Audit company “Perspective Plus”, Krivoy Rog;
  5. “Turbomash” ltd., Sumy;
  6. JSC “Mediagrafiks (INDIVISION)”, Moscow.

VI International Scientific Conference "Marketing of innovations and innovations in marketing" passed in 5 sections:

  • Marketing of innovations;
  • Innovations in Marketing;
  • Eco-marketing and eco-management;
  • Management of potential innovative development on the basis of marketing;
  • Innovation management.


Among the most meaningful and compelling presentations that covered the methodological and theoretical aspects of marketing of innovation and marketing innovation, should note the following: “Prerequisites and Conditions for the Formation and Implementation of Strategy OVVRRS on the FMCG Market of Belarus” (Doctor of Law, Assoc. Prof. Bilousov O.); “Internet Technologies as a Marketing Tool of Activity of Enterprise” (Ph.D. Doljanskiy I.); “Marketing of Ethics: Essence and Problems of Practice in Ukraine” (Doctor of Economics, Prof. Reshetnikova I.); “Industrial Marketing: Reality and Ways of Improving at Chemical Enterprises” (Ph.D., Assoc. Prof. Shvets N.); “Features of Strategic Priorities of Marketing Management of Processing Enterprises” (Ph.D., Assoc. Prof. Shumeyko V.); “Segmentation of Coal Market as a Basis for the Development of a Market Strategy of the Mine” (Ph.D. Student Serdiuk O.).

Overall, during the VI International scientific-practical conference “Marketing of Innovations and Innovations in Marketing” the following issues were covered:

  1. methodological and theoretical foundations of marketing of innovations;
  2. management of trade mark in context of innovation marketing;
  3. management of innovations' marketing risks;
  4. potential of innovative development on the basis of marketing;
  5. innovations in marketing;
  6. marketing of environmental innovations;
  7. marketing in education and sport:;
  8. nonprofit marketing;
  9. Internet-marketing;
  10. banking marketing.

It should be noted that this year the conference took place in the on-line broadcasting. Thanks to the newest technologies scientists, who didn’t manage to visit SSU, have the opportunity to participate by Internet. Thus, all the participants with pleasure listened to the webinar report of the Angel Mirchev (Bulgaria).


The second day started with a round table, on which were considered the problems and prospects of use of Internet-technologies in marketing. Representatives of the Ukrainian enterprises and the employees of the Department came up with interesting reports, among which were the following: «A Portrait of a modern Sumy inhabitant» (Karpishchenko M., Laboratory of marketing decisions), «Opportunities for the use of the Web-site of the industrial enterprises» (Ivashova N., Agency of marketing communications MART), «Problems and prospects of using Internet-technologies in educational sphere» (Shipulina Y., SSU). The themes of the round table aroused a great interest among the participants, who noted its relevance and practical significance.

Participants of conference have made the decision to carry out the conference “Marketing of innovations and innovations in marketing” next year on the basis of the Department of Marketing and MIA of Sumy State University.

By results of the VI International scientific-practical conference “Marketing of innovations and innovations in marketing” will be published a collective monograph till the end of 2012.
