X International Scientific and Practical Conference “Marketing of Innovations and Innovations in Marketing”

On the 29 September – 1 October 2016 the X International Scientific and Practical Conference “Marketing of Innovations and Innovations in Marketing” was held at Sumy State University. Organizer is the Department of Marketing and MIA (http://km.fem.sumdu.edu.ua/ ) of Sumy State University.

During the conference there were received materials from 176 participants, including 40 doctors, 92 PhDs, 20 postgraduates, 4 candidates, 6 assistants, 4 teachers, 5 students and 5 representatives of enterprises.

Geography of participants: United Kingdom (Cambridge), Lithuania (Vilnius), Poland (Bielsko-Biala, Częstochowa), Ukraine (Sumy, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Odesa, Lviv, Dnipro, Vinnytsya, Kryvyi Rih, Poltava, Lutsk, Khmelnitsky, Chernivtsi, Kropivnitskiy, Pokrovskiy, Starobilsk, Mariupol, Mukachevo).

Proceedings of the conference included reports of representatives of 46 universities and research organizations, including 5 foreign and representatives of local businesses and organizations.

The work of the X International Scientific and Practical Conference “Marketing of Innovations and Innovations in Marketing” was held in 5 sections:

  • Innovations in Marketing
  • Innovative Management
  • Problems of Innovative Development
  • Ecological Marketing and Management.

The conference reports has covered various aspects of marketing of innovations, innovative management and problems of innovative development.

The conference covered the following main areas:

  • theoretical and methodological foundations of innovation marketing;
  • non-profit marketing;
  • marketing of education and sports;

  • Internet marketing;
  • brand management in the context of innovation marketing;
  • risk management of innovation marketing;
  • management of innovative development potential on the basis of marketing;
  • innovations in marketing;
  • marketing of ecological innovations;
  • marketing and innovative aspects of exchange activities.

The first day of the conference ended with Sumy State University tour. Delegates had the opportunity to meet the educational television station and radio studio of the university, teaching and counseling center NetCracker, Center for family support “Student Stork”, Center of e-learning, Startup center “New Generation” and visited the university library complex.

The second day began with a round table on the problems of digital marketing and marketing of education. Participants of the conference visited the Palace of Golitsyn, Chocolate Museum of Trostyanets chocolate factory and Historical Museum.

On the third day of the conference within the walking tour participants attended boarding school “Cadet Corps” named after I.H. Kharitonenko. Everyone had the opportunity to try their hand at shooting accuracy on the interactive laser at shooting room.

The results of the X International Scientific and Practical Conference “Marketing of Innovations and Innovations in Marketing” will be published in the collective monograph. The articles on materials of the best reports after the review will be published in the journal “Marketing and Management of Innovations” (№4, 2016), which is reviewed and indexed in a lot of international databases.
