XI International Scientific and Practical Conference “Marketing of Innovations and Innovations in Marketing”

On the 28-30 September 2017 the XI International Scientific and Practical Conference “Marketing of Innovations and Innovations in Marketing” was held at Sumy State University. Organizer is the Department of Marketing and MIA of Sumy State University. 

During the conference there were received materials from 141 participants, including 38 doctors, 64 PhDs, 9 postgraduates, 2 candidates, 3 assistants, 8 teachers, 16 students and 5 representatives of enterprises.

Geography of participants: Belarus (Vitebsk), Poland (Bielsko-Biala, Częstochowa), Ukraine (Sumy, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Odesa, Lviv, Dnipro, Vinnytsya, Ismail, Kryvyi Rih, Novovolynsk, Poltava, Rivne, Sloviansk, Toretsk, Kropivnitskiy, Pokrovskiy). 

Proceedings of the conference included reports of representatives of 41 universities and research organizations, including 3 foreign and representatives of local businesses and organizations.

The work of the XI International Scientific and Practical Conference “Marketing of Innovations and Innovations in Marketing” was held in 5 sections:

  • Management of the potential of innovative development of the enterprise on the basis of marketing;
  • Methodological and theoretical-methodical bases of marketing of innovations;
  • Managing Marketing Risks of Innovation;
  • Marketing of environmental innovations;
  • Non-commercial marketing, marketing of education and sports;
  • Innovations in Marketing;
  • Internet Marketing.

he subject of the reports aroused a lively discussion of the participants of the conference.

The first day ended in the evening in the circle of friends, which was devoted to the 15th anniversary of the Department of Marketing and Management of Innovation.

Proceedings of the conference included reports of representatives of 41 universities and research organizations, including 3 foreign and representatives of local businesses and organizations.

The work of the XI International Scientific and Practical Conference “Marketing of Innovations and Innovations in Marketing” was held in 5 sections:

The second day of the conference was devoted to the issues of "Green" marketing (ecological marketing, rural marketing, marketing of tourist services, etc.). The conference continued at the Vakulina Baika Rural Ecological Tourism. Apart from the scientific program, the participants of the conference took part in the "Cossack entertainment" events, which they traditionally offer this place to their visitors.

On the third day of the conference, its participants visited the “Gorobyna” Ltd. during the excursion, where they became acquainted with the history of the enterprise, production process and products of the enterprise. The presentation was made by Director of “Gorobyna” Ltd Demura V.O. Also in the framework of the round table the problems and prospects of marketing activities of the company were discussed.

According to the results of the conference, it is planned to publish a collective monograph in English.
